I work on healthcare software in production, mostly around Java, PL/SQL, Kafka, AWS, Docker, and event-driven systems.
A lot of my time is spent close to real systems: debugging weird bugs, reading old code, handling incidents, chasing edge cases, and making things less chaotic.
Outside of work, I build things in Go such as routing engines, backend infrastructure, devtools, APIs, and experiments with distributed systems.
I like software that is simple, observable, fast enough, and boring in production.
